Puebla Bible Seminary

Puebla Bible Seminary was founded in 1959
The training of ministers to plant and serve evangelical churches in Mexico has been the mission of Puebla Bible Seminary since its inception. Originally founded as the Bible Insitute and Seminary of Mexico in 1959. The location was chosen because of its close proximity to Mexico City and easy access to other universities nestled in the valley surrounded by Mexico's tallest mountains.

The school chose Colossians 1:28 "Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ" as a Bible verse to set the course for its ministry. Today they offer certificates, bachelors and masters degrees with emphases in pastoral ministry, youth ministry, missions, and music. As the church in Mexico continues to grow so does the need for pastors trained to faithfully preach the Word of God and to make disciples of Jesus Christ.

Aaron teaching a class on the book of Ruth
Aaron is excited to have the opportunity to serve as a professor at Puebla Bible Seminary. He is looking forward to teaching wherever He is needed. His particular interests are in New Testament Studies, Greek, Hebrew, the Gospels, Preaching, and Biblical Theology. Being a bit of a Bible geek is a good thing when you're calling is to seminary life. In addition to classroom teaching much time will be spent discipling young men preparing to serve the Lord as pastors throughout Mexico and the Spanish speaking world.

While most seminaries in the U.S. can afford to offer a salary this is not usually the case for missionary planted schools like PBS. Faculty members from the US and other parts of the world come as missionaries who raise their support to allow the school to reach and train more students then if they had to hire all their teachers based of the relatively small amount of tuition contributed by students.

Please prayerfully consider partnering with us to allow Aaron to be a part of the expanding teaching team at PBS.
